Whitney Elizabeth Houston was the youngest of the children of singer Dionne Warswick and gospel singer Cissy Houston. Whitney Elizabeth Houston grew up in a musical household. She began singing in a choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark in the early years of her childhood at the age of 15, she had begun singing backing vocals professionally along with their mother in Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. A number of hit singles, such as the hit songs Saving All My Love For You How Do I know That You Love Me and The Greatest Love of All were released from the album setting her up for a Beatles-beating seven consecutive US numbers one. The album's first US year the album has sold in excess of 3 million units. It went on to be purchased by more than 25 million worldwide which earned her her first Grammy. The Whitney follow-up in 1987 with the singles What Do Broken Hearts GO and I Wanna Dance With Somebody helped to further build upon the success of her first album. It was, however the 1992 film The Bodyguard that solidified her position as one of the world's most popular artists. While the movie and the actress' performance were not well-received, the soundtrack album with her version of Dolly Parton's I Will Always Love You was her top album and single for a number of months. It sold over 44 million copies around the world. In the same year, she got married to ex-New Edition singer Bobby Brown with whom she had her only child their daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown in March 1993. Around this time her use of drugs was well-documented and she started using it daily by 1996.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more popularly known as, is an American anchorwoman reporter, as well as CNN's political anchorwoman and political correspondent. She hosted a variety of weekend programs for the network, such as Evans & Novak: Late Edition" and Inside Politics." She has previously worked for NBC and CBS. Bash's awards and recognitions include inclusion in the "The Women in Washington Power List" by Elle magazine.
