Whitney Elizabeth Houston is a singer from Newark New Jersey on the 9th of August, 1963. The parents of her are gospel singers Cissy Houston(n e Emily Lee Drinkard) as well as John Russell Houston Jr. Whitney's cousin Dionne warwick also sings. While the movie itself and her performance in it were not highly praised the soundtrack album and her cover of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You made the charts of albums and singles for months and sold 44 million copies around the world. In the same year, she got married to former New Edition star Bobby Brown with whom she has a single child Bobbi Kristina Brown. She was born in the month of March 1993.
