Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents of Winona Ryder gave her the name of the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz' father was an author and editor and editor, as was Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder's father is from a Jewish family Ryder considers herself Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger sister. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are Ryder's half-siblings. Ryder's family moved from Mendocino County in California at the age of seven. The family didn't have electricity. Ryder, who read a lot at the age of 12, became a bookworm since Ryder was not able to access television. Ryder was 12 when she was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas was let go in 1986 and Ryder, then just 15 years old, was offered the role of a leading actress. Ryder was bullied in the high school. Her acting career, she hoped to help, could have helped her. Sadly that didn't happen. However, she continued to pursue her dreams. Her breakthrough came through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was able to continue playing roles that were successful in several movies. He was nominated for two Academy Awards were nominated, one of which was for The Age of Innocence (1996).
